Agenda:

I will repower the City Council with the citizens' power, by changing Fremont politics. Eliminate the control exercised by the developers like A's management and special interest groups. I will not blindly vote and rubber-stamp with the Mayor. The A's management would like to grab the goldmine land near and around Warm Springs BART station for their own development agenda.  I strongly oppose this as it would create lots of challenges for the citizens of Fremont, which were also voiced by the Fremont Citizens Network. "FREMONT FIRST - NO STADIUM

 Economic Development:

  • The land around and near NUMMI and Warm Springs Blvd should be used as an economic incubator zone to create full-time, high paying, and year-round jobs.  This  would yield high tax revenues for the city, which in-turn could be re-invested into our community.  To build quality schools, parks, play grounds, youth centers for lasting legacy of most modern, and green "smart-city" development. We have to make Fremont " GREEN VALLEY ".

  • Build a most modern 22nd Centuary pedestrian friendly green downtown with recycled water for the landscaping and plantation..

  • Plant 10,000 new trees every year to reduce pollution and beautify the city.

Education:

  • Work with the School District to fully fund quality education. Build most modern and well equipped schools by involving corporations and foundations. I will make California Schools top in USA..

  • I support the students, parents, teachers and the administrators for quality education and security of the jobs. Low interest loans for college education and research.

Affordable Housing:

  • Affordable Green Housing and special quotas for seniors, teachers,  police officers, firefighters, small businessmen, nurses and low paid workers of Fremont.

Public Transport:

  • Introduction of affordable Light Rail on Fremont Blvd and Paseo Padre Pkwy, more bike lanes, and improve the sidewalks for pedestrians.

  • Environmentally clean Solar/electric powered  affordable public transport

  • Extend the Bay Area Rapid Transport (BART) to San Jose to lessen traffic on I-880/I-680 to reduce pollution as well as economic development by inviting all the top retailers.
Public Safety:

  • Increase police staff and police patrol and introduction of Burglar Alarm Response System.

  • Appoint police commission for better relationship with public and accountability.

 Others:

  • Reduce city staff by 10% to make it lean, accountable and efficient like a corporation. 
  • Consumer Protection,.Senior discounts of 10% in all retail stores
  • Equal opportunities for women in jobs and pay
  • Build more parks and playgrounds for the youth and recreation Centers for seniors

With the support of the citizens of Fremont, I will work hard to make Fremont a economically vibrant and green to improve the quality of life and the health of citizens. Fremont should be a Healthy City.
